2.12.0 (31/08/2026)
New features
Vessel documents. Users who can update a vessel can now keep its certificates and supporting files on the Documents tab of the vessel page. Each record includes a required certificate name, issue date, and expiry date, plus optional issuing authority and notes. Save the record before uploading attachments of up to 15 MiB. Documents can be filtered by validity, archived and restored, and their selected attachments can be downloaded together. See Vessel Management.
Safer vessel setup copying. Copy From Vessel now applies the selected setup as one operation: technical information is replaced exactly and only missing position ranks are added. Existing target positions remain unchanged, and vessel documents and attachments are never copied. See Vessel Management.
Verification evidence removal. Current evidence files can now be removed from document and Sea Experience verification. Removal is applied only after Save, remains visible in the audit trail, and does not remove evidence from verification history. See Verify Documents and Verify Sea Experience.
Close reminders from the Dashboard. The reminder author or recipient can now click Mark as read directly in the Assigned to me or Created by me list, including before the scheduled time. The reminder leaves Open but remains available under Completed and All with the Read status. See Dashboard.
Fixes
Crew Change reports can be generated when a selected seafarer has no citizenship recorded. The seafarer remains in the report with an empty nationality instead of preventing the report from being created.
Assignments linked to a deleted or inaccessible vessel can be repaired by selecting a compatible active replacement in the assignment dialog. Crewlap also repairs the assignment-generated Sea Experience while preserving dates and history. See Assignment Dialog.

Multiple file uploads. You can now select or drag several uploaded CV files, application document attachments, vessel document attachments, or verification evidence files at once. Crewlap uploads the selected files one after another so none are lost. See CV Management and Vessel Management.
Consistent date fields. Back-office date fields now use the same date picker and support both typing a date and selecting it from the calendar.
Date keyboard navigation. Pressing Enter applies a manually entered Crew List date without collapsing its panel. In assignment dialogs, Tab and Enter move through date fields predictably and keep the entered values.
What's New shown once per login. After you close the dialog, it stays hidden while you navigate during the same login session. It appears again after a later login unless you select Don't show this version again.
2.12.2 (04/09/2026)
File upload dates. Application photos, uploaded CV files, and application and vessel document attachments now show an Added date below the file name. This makes it easier to see when a saved file entered Crewlap, including while editing a record. See CV Management and Vessel Management.
Vessel moves fixed. A vessel can now be moved to another group in the same company or to a group in another company. Its existing positions and synchronized client pool move with it, and Crewlap opens the vessel at its new path after saving. See Vessel Management.

The Crew List date is now easier to find in the panel header. Use Current for today's crew, or select a past date to view the crewlist as it was on that day.
Printed Crew List reports now use the date selected in the Crew List and show that date clearly in the report.
Crew List pages and reports now follow application access and personal-data visibility settings more consistently.
Crew Change selection checkboxes now appear only while the Crew change report section is open, keeping the Crew List clear when the report is not in use.

New features
Assigned tasks and reminders. You can assign tasks and reminders to an eligible colleague or to yourself. Tasks can have an optional deadline and move through To do, In progress, Done, and Closed. When you assign a task to a colleague, Crewlap sends them an email with the task and application details. See Tasks and Reminders.
Dashboard. The Dashboard brings tasks and reminders from accessible applications into two lists: Assigned to me and Created by me. Each list has status, type, and text filters. Items are ordered by task deadline or reminder time. Open an item to go to its application, scroll to the note, and highlight it. See Dashboard.
Improved document and sea experience verification. Verification now records a dedicated Verification date and restores the current status, date, and message when you reopen the dialog. Expanded rows show the current status, processor, date, latest message, and evidence. The verification history keeps status changes and clearly marks only details that were replaced without a status change. Evidence preview, including PDF fallback and download, is more reliable. See Verify Documents and Verify Sea Experience.
Fixes
The Asg rnk column in the Applications list now displays the full assigned rank correctly.
The Jump to Crew List button is available again on application pages.
The Pools and Pr. Pools filters in the Applications list can again filter applications by selected pools.
The Notes panel no longer closes when you click elsewhere. Its visibility remains saved until you explicitly toggle it, including after signing in again.

New features
Document verification. Administrators can configure whether verification is required, optional, or not needed for each document type in Document Types Management. Back-office operators with the relevant permissions can then record progress or a verdict, a mandatory memo, and supporting evidence directly from the document row. See Verify Documents.
Sea experience verification. Back-office operators with the relevant permissions can process verification of a seafarer's sea experience, record a mandatory memo, and attach supporting evidence. See Verify Sea Experience.
Improved note creation. Add a quick note directly from the Notes panel, or choose Note, Salary expectation, Task, or Reminder in the redesigned Note options dialog. See Notes and Reminders.

Document archive. You can archive an outdated application document without deleting it. Archived documents are hidden from All and every standard expiry filter, and appear only under Archived. They are read-only but can still be deleted. Users who can update the application can archive and restore documents. Archived documents are not shown to the seafarer. See CV Management.

Image zoom now works correctly in the Document Preview dialog.

New features
Printable Crew List reports. The Crew List print menu now provides three layouts:
Crew list for onboard crew.
Crew list + Planned for onboard and planned assignments.
Crew list + Planned with notes for the combined report with the latest planned-assignment notes.
Reports use the selected Crew List date and show when the report was generated. See Crewlist Management and Shift Reports.
Historical assignments. You can enter an assignment, proposal, event, or availability period with its actual past business date. Crewlap places it into dated Crew Lists from that date without restoring an already expired current vessel-pool link. See Assignment Dialog and Crewlist Management.
Pool links during historical corrections. When you correct a historical assignment, Crewlap preserves pool links contributed by other assignments, recruitment proposals, and manual pool membership. See Pools Concept.
Clearer document expiry status. Expired documents and documents approaching expiry are easier to identify by their row colour.
What's New notifications. After a feature release, Crewlap shows a short list of important highlights after login. Select Don't show this version again to dismiss that release. The next feature release will still be shown.
Fixes
User administration now keeps the displayed Invited, Last accessed, and Accepted dates aligned with the corresponding account activity.
Printable report dates use the standard
DD/MM/YYYYformat.

Administrators with the global Diagnostics | Read permission can download a metadata-only technical graph for a seafarer by LAP ID. The graph includes technical keys, statuses, meaningful dates, and object relations for pools, documents, assignments, vessels, sea experience, and related records while excluding personal and business content. Sea experience dates are highlighted and link to the Crew List only for automatically managed rows created from assignments. Dates in manually entered rows remain plain text.
