User Administration
Administrators use User Administration to maintain global back-office user accounts and connect those users to organizations.
User List
Open Administration | Users to review user accounts.
From the list you can:
filter users by key, name, email, or status;
create a user account;
open a user card;
impersonate a user when your access rights allow it.
The user account is global. It represents one person in Crewlap even when that person can work in several organizations.
User Dialogs
Use General Info to create or edit the global account.
The dialog includes:
Key: the unique user key. It can be generated automatically during creation.
Email: the login email for the user.
First Name and Last Name: the name shown in back-office pages.
Enabled: whether the user account itself is active.
When a new user is saved, the card stays available so you can add organization memberships.
Organization Memberships
The Organizations tab lists organizations where the user can work.
Use Add Organization to User to select one organization and add the membership. Use User Organization to enable or disable that membership.
Disabling an organization membership keeps the row visible, but the user cannot work in that organization through that membership.
Use Make Admin only when the user should receive administrative access for that organization. The exact permissions still depend on the access setup used by your installation.
